System requirements
Check this before you buy.
VibeStarter runs its agents inside a virtualized environment, on your machine. One condition matters more than all the others: hardware virtualization, which determines how fast the app runs. Checking takes thirty seconds.
Hardware virtualization
VibeStarter runs a local virtual machine. On Windows this assumes hardware virtualization — Intel VT-x or AMD-V (also called “SVM”) — is enabled in your motherboard's BIOS/UEFI. Without it the app falls back to software emulation: it still works, but noticeably slower, and some machines become unstable in that mode.
Check it in 30 seconds, on Windows
- 1Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
- 2Open the “Performance” tab, then select “CPU”.
- 3Read the “Virtualization” line in the right-hand block.
Enabled
Your machine will run at full speed.
Disabled
The app will run in degraded mode, noticeably slower. Enable it in the BIOS/UEFI.
Degraded mode, without virtualization
The app remains usable, but noticeably slower: generation and startup times can be several times longer. On some configurations this mode also causes freezes or blue screens, tied to the machine's hardware and drivers. Performance figures described on the site assume virtualization is active: degraded mode carries no performance guarantee, and no assistance on hardware configuration.
If it is disabled
The setting lives in your machine's BIOS/UEFI, under a name that varies by manufacturer: “Intel Virtualization Technology”, “VT-x”, “AMD-V”, “SVM Mode”. The exact steps depend entirely on your motherboard — check your manufacturer's documentation. On some consumer machines the option is locked by the vendor and cannot be enabled at all.
On Mac
Nothing to do: virtualization is provided by macOS itself (Hypervisor.framework) and is always available on Apple Silicon chips.
What VibeStarter cannot do
Virtualization depends on your processor, your motherboard's BIOS/UEFI and your system configuration. We have no access to any of it: we cannot enable it, repair it, or diagnose it remotely. No assistance is provided on BIOS/UEFI, firmware, drivers, or on the system instabilities — blue screens, boot failures — that follow from them. Those belong to your hardware and your manufacturer.

Intel-based Macs are not supported. The macOS build is in beta: it runs the same agents as on Windows, with fewer flight hours.
Known conflicts
Some software monopolizes virtualization or blocks it outright. If the app crawls or refuses to start even though virtualization is enabled, these are the most common cause:
- Other hypervisors: VMware Workstation or Player, VirtualBox, BlueStacks, LDPlayer and Android emulators in general.
- Windows security: Virtualization-Based Security (VBS), Memory Integrity (“Core Isolation”) and Credential Guard.
- Kernel-level anti-cheats: Riot Vanguard (Valorant, League of Legends), Easy Anti-Cheat, FACEIT AC — some block virtualization while running.
- Third-party antivirus with hardware protection or sandboxing enabled.
This software is part of your environment: configuring it, making it coexist, or uninstalling it is up to you. VibeStarter provides no assistance on that.

You are good to go.
These technical requirements are disclosed to you before purchase, in line with article L. 224-25-14 of the French Consumer Code. A machine that does not meet them is not a lack of conformity of VibeStarter.
