VibeStarter Community
Bot terms of service
Terms for VibeStarter Community, the Discord bot for VibeStarter games.
Version dated October 14, 2026 · The French terms prevail
1. Service and publisher
These terms concern VibeStarter Community, the bot installed in Discord servers through Community access or a standalone Discord subscription. Ethan Dorme--Talandier operates it as a sole trader under the trade name VibeStarter. Full publisher details are in the legal notice below.
For VibeStarter account holders, these details supplement the VibeStarter terms. They do not change existing purchases or sales terms. Discord server members can read these terms and the privacy policy without a VibeStarter account. Publishing these pages does not announce commercial availability.
2. Installation and permissions
The project owner initiates installation from VibeStarter, subject to Community access for the game. Their Discord account must be linked to their VibeStarter account, and that same account, authorized to add an application to the server, must approve it in Discord. The association is created only once a confirmation page naming the game and the server has been validated. The owner must hold the necessary rights to the game, server and content they ask to publish.
The web dashboard requires a Discord account that owns or administers the server and active access for that server. A standalone bot subscription requires no VibeStarter licence or project and does not include a wiki. Purchase and subscription management take place through Discord, which displays the price and conditions at checkout.
Granted permissions allow the bot to inspect accessible server structure, manage channels and roles, and publish or manage its own messages. Configuring native AutoMod also requires Manage Server; rules using timeouts require Moderate Members. Actions are limited by Discord permissions and service settings. The bot does not request Administrator permission.
3. Using the bot
The bot executes actions requested by the owner and configured game-event automations. Depending on the selected mode, an announcement awaits approval or is published automatically. The owner must review destinations, content and rules before activation.
Users must comply with Discord rules, Roblox rules for game events and content, third-party rights and applicable law. The service must not be used for spam, harassment, impersonation or unauthorized disclosure of personal information.
When available, the bot configures native AutoMod rules at the owner’s request: filtering, blocking, alerts and, if requested, timeouts. Discord enforces these rules. The bot only edits or deletes rules it created and whose format it supports; other rules remain read-only. The owner must review filters, exemptions and alert channels. These protections do not replace human moderation. The bot does not converse with members. The /evenements command displays configured game events when that feature is available.
4. Stopping, unlinking and data
The owner can disable automations or unlink the server in VibeStarter. A Discord administrator can also remove the bot or revoke its permissions in Discord.
Unlinking stops service actions for that association at once; the end of access (Community or a standalone bot subscription) stops them the same way. The bot then leaves the server 30 days after the unlinking or the end of access, unless the server is linked again or access resumes before then. Neither unlinking nor the bot’s departure removes existing Discord channels, roles or messages. Game preferences and rules remain available for reconnection. Native AutoMod rules remain on Discord: unlinking, resetting in VibeStarter, stopping or removing the bot, or losing Community access does not disable them. An administrator must explicitly disable or delete them in Discord to stop enforcement. The privacy policy explains retention and deletion requests.
5. Availability and support
Execution depends on granted permissions, service access and the availability of VibeStarter, Discord and, for events, the Roblox game. An operation may be refused, delayed or fail; instant announcement delivery is not guaranteed.
